Royel Colistin 500

Colistin  is an antibiotic of Polymyxinsgroup with bactericidal effect against gram –ve negative bacteria like E-coli spp.Salmonellaspp,Haemophilusspp,Pseudomonas aerugenosaspp , Pasteurllaspp, Enterobacter,Compylopacter SPP and shigella spp.poorly absorbed from intestine

Indications:
Gastrointestinal infection by mo. Susceptible to  colistin

Dosage:
Drinking water medication only by 1g per 4 liter for 3-5 day

Contraindication:
With renal disturbances

Side effect:
Nephrotoxic and neurotoxic effect following parenteral administration
